Salvage of 39 Wreck Ship

Arvand River is located on Iran-Iraq borderline where Tigris, Euphrates and Karun rivers join with 84 km length. Since ancient times, Arvand is a navigable river. After Iraq-Iran war, the shipping reached its minimum due to sunken vessels on the riverbed.

To this end, Iran’s PMO selected SADAF from among domestic & overseas salvage companies to perform the salvage of 39 shipwrecks divided into three categories as “difficult”, “semi difficult” and “easy” where SADAF executed the project with specialized equipment and unique fleet. This project will be completed soon.
