Engineering, Supply and Installation of Submarine Pipeline, Riser Plem, Mooring Chain, Flexible Risers for Installation of New FSU in Soroush field In the Persian Gulf (EPCI) (2.2 Million BBL)

The SADAF Company was chosen as a main contractor for this Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation of the required submarine pipeline, riser PLEM, Mooring Chain and Flexible Risers for a VLCC size FPU and started work with detailed design including the assessment of geophysical reports. Once engineering work was completed, the PLEM and foundation piles were fabricated in the SAFF Bandar Abbas yard and the multi-chain anchor chains procured. Installation of the 8 x 72″ dia. mooring piles, PLEM and 8 x 100 mm dia. Grade 4 anchor chains, 512 meters long were then completed in preparation for the arrival of the IOOC supplied FSU. The SADAF Company then connected the FSU to the field facilities.

This project also consisted of laying 12 Km of 16″ dia. pipeline connecting the FSU to an existing
