Engineering, Coating and Installation of Subsea and Onshore Pipe Line for Phase 4 & 5 South Pars

Length: 200 Km, 32” from Platforms SPD5 & 6

The scope of contract was the laying of about two hundred kilometers of the two sea lines of 32″ + 4″ from platforms SPD 5 and SPD 6, offshore Iran, to the onshore plant, including the application of the anticorrosive and overweighing coating to the pipelines & anode application:

  • Receive, unload take custody, handle & store
  • Application to the pipelines of the anticorrosion coating, anodes and overweighing coating in the coating yard
  • Transportation of the coated pipes from Company’s pipe delivery point
  • Mobilization of the dredging spread
  • Execution of the shore approach excavation work for the pipelines of Phases 4 & 5
  • Execution of the temporary works (fencing, winch installation, etc.) on the beach
  • Mobilization of the offshore survey spread
  • Pre-lay survey along pipeline corridors
  • Mobilization of the laying spread
  • Pipe pulling from lay-barge of the pipelines in the pre-dredged trench
  • Current laying of the pipelines and pipe abandonment in the target areas in the proximity of the platforms
  • Mobilization of the diving vessel spread
  • Execution of the flanged connections, risers/spools and spools/pipelines, at the platforms
  • Testing, de-watering and pre-commissioning of the entire pipelines in one operation
  • Demobilization of each equipment and spread utilized for the construction
