Lead-out, Transportation & Installation S1 Jacket

Development of SALMAN joint oil field project located in 144 km South of Lavan Island was contracted by Iran Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) to SADAF CO. as the qualified contractor for transportation and installation of Jacket S1.

The installation method was “vertical lift” with consideration of environmental and engineering conditions using SADAF 3000 crane barge with co-operation of LB 90, OFOGH 1 & OFOGH 2 vessels.

In addition to Jacket, SADAF also installed the accessories such as Barge bumper, Boat Landing TTP, Conductor Pipe, Handrails and Navigation Rails is short time.

The penetration depth of piles in this project is 35 meters. Despite hard seabed, it was executed by SADAF’s powerful Menck hammer.
